I did these while waiting for my dinner to cook - sat in front of the computer and painted both in less than 3/4 of an hour no pre-drawiing. Both are on Strathmore and i did these with my watercolour Wheel stack pack and a water brush - the Tomatoes painting is 5x7.5 and the Bulrushes 4.5 x7.

Kate...those tomatoes look ideal to go with your dinner...wonderful luscious colour...nice patterns on the cattails interpretation!

Kate - so well done in that short time. Luscious colors on the tomatoes. And your cattails capture that movement they always do.

Great quick ones! Love the red of the tomatoes and long,long stems of the cattails. Fun way to wait:clap:

How do you do this and...COOK too? I'm just...stunned. They're excellent. The tomatoes I could just pick off the page. <sigh>

Oh my those tomatoes look good enough to eat and makes me want my garden to hurry along as there is not much better than a sun ripened tomatoes. The other is very nice also.
