Just trying something totally different. Greens are a bit brighter, they look very dull and olive-y here.

Very nice. I was looking up pink pastels online last night. Haven't decided which ones I will get yet. Amazon had a 5 piece mt vision set i may get. See, you inspired me. Pam:wave:

Great job Kris. It is different from what I have seen before. Your roses are normally so delicate which I love but this one has a lot more umph. I really really like it. Love the leaves. It's a winner :)

Yes this one is more dramatic than your usual soft roses. I like them both. I think both representations show a different side of the same flower. Keep them coming!

Many thanks, Lori, Lynn and Sharen. I did this one really fast (for me). The painting didn't turn out like I wanted it to...the sketch had more cohesion...back to the (listing) drawing board.
My 40+ year old easel, which has been sawed, taped, hammered, glued and nailed, is failing. I have to hold it up with one hand if I press on the paper too hard. Argh.
Pam, glad I could add some pink to your life! This is primarily two pinks, one Unison and one Schminke. But "unfortunately" almost every brand has some gorgeous pinks! $$$ :( Let me know what you end up with! :)
