Here's a view of the foothills near my home after a recent rain storm passed through. Still needs a little work. (and a better photograph)..

You have a great painting in the making here. What are you thinking of doing? I notice you haven't asked for C&C.
Oh, I just noticed your tag line at the bottom.
I'm not a landscape artist, but maybe some touches of brighter sunlight on foreground hills (maybe even background, where it peeks through the clouds)?

i'm with Kris about c&c ...
anyway , on my screen there is a red/w. variations that holds everything together .
> subtle mix on greens with the terrain . :)

I started working on this again and quickly realized that I was just starting to mess it up so I stopped at a few spots of light on the distant mountain.
I might try a larger version where it would be easier to try a different approach. We'll see...

Love this Randy. Think the addition of the few spots of light has really turned your painting from good to wow. Clouds are wicked. :)
