Here are some updates since my last journal post:
This was done at home in my own garden.
In "Old Salem"
A trip to Blowing Rock in the very early Spring.

Those are very nice! You are quite good at getting a variety of values with the ink lines, that shows a lot of patience!
Great compositions, too!
I wish I had neat artsy little printing like yours...something I must work on, as it adds a nice touch to a good drawing.

I always enjoy your style, Steven, and I like these a lot.
It makes it look like you work very quickly, so I am curious if you spend a good bit of time setting up the sketch before you add in the value. That's the difficult part for me.

Your values are wonderfully done. . . is the first combo of graphite/ink? I always really admire how you do that. Have meant to give it a try sometime.

Thanks, everyone, so much for your lovely comments. I have wanted to post some more updates, however I'm having computer issues and am posting this reply from a friends computer. When I'm "back in business" I'll try to be more faithful with my participation.
