Thanks again to http://www.wetcanvas.com/RefLib/showphoto.php?photo=57895 for the picture. I had to try it.

I just put it in mat but now am not sure if it's finished. Comments appreciated.

Again, this one is also a bit darker than appears. Don't know why they all seem to turn out light.

Great work on the subtle reflection in the foreground. Maybe a little more definition of the dark areas and stripes in the reflection?

hehe...I get them to that stage then I'm paranoid about 'fixing' them to death.

Lovely delicate colors the cast shadow IMO needs to be darker.

I like it, i think you did a great job on catching the shine on the shell.

Its a difficult motive & the soft shadows on the shell are hardly to to see
But you have to paint them to make it 3D :wave:

Nice job on the shell. As mentioned by others, you need a darker background to make the shell pop!
