tried to make a new portrait of my daughter. its made on pastelmat and rembrandt and some unison pastels en derwent pencils. the paper wont take any new layer so i have to quit now. the left side under her mouth wont take a lighter color and also the background on the right upper corner is also full.
think i pushed to hard. but anyway its a learning curve and it was fun.
now i am gooing to do some bougereau faces to learn skintones and good colouring. tnx for watching.

she looks divine.
My first impression is that her right eye is fractionally bigger than her left eye (her right and left, not ours). Only a hair, but there is something there than bothers me. It may be that her right eye looks like it has black eyeliner on the lower lid...
anyway...she is unquestionably gorgeous, but only you know if the likeness is there or not.

The picture has more dark and purple then the drawing put it is so hard to get a good picture. I am not totaly happy with the end result but paper doesnt take pastel anymore. Good lesson for the next one. Trying different kinds of paper to see what works best for me. Tnx for the comments.
