Seriously, this is beautiful. I had no idea what to expect when you told me what was coming, but I knew it would be beautiful. :) You are fantastic. Utterly.

Started not to look... I am too susceptible now that finally have one of yours. Anyone know of a 12 step program, I have it baaad.

challenging composition
the darkness at the top balances the even spacing of the leaves, ya get tension off it (you know I like the 'off' compositions)
the compliments of color adding to the riot
only topped by the knifestrokes
the transparancy of the dish is particularly impressive
well realized and definite in shape amid the soft abstraction of the other forms
nice contrast

the other forms remind me of disintegration...creamy as it were
like standing over a similar dish filled with acid
when I was little with my brother
while my mom was preparing to etch a zinc printing plate in the kitchen
when she'd leave, we'd dare each other to put stuff in the acid
(this really pissed her off)
but it was too interesting seeing what would happen
when nitric met household objects
this piece reminds me of the fragile disinegrating nature off all

I like the recent trend of work

Every day I give my leafy veges a bath in a glass bowl. LOL. Looks just like this.
