Thanks for the photos!

I tried a sketch of the window using watercolours in a S&B Alpha.
Wish I had toned the page first, but was using a waterbrush, and I don't quite have the hang of those yet...

Changed the curtain colour to perk it up a bit!

That is an excellent likeness!
And I enjoy seeing the exploratory pencil lines left in!
Good stuff.

Dragoon, very quick loose piece.

Eileen, thank you for the nice photo references. Your dog has a lot of spunk in him.

I tried Daniel Smith watercolor on Bristol Smooth and it's not really very sturdy.

Wouldn't have thought to try water color on Bristol Smooth. Lovely painting.

Very nice one, Eileen. It almost looks surreal with a lot of faces and heads looking to bust out onto the road.

So sorry to be remiss, but went away for a glorious week in Cordoba and Seville but came back with a horrible cold :( and am only just beginning to feel like putting my head above the parapet.
Toowoomba and gakinme, I love your 'bend in the road to Val d'ebo representations. Two different but lovely works.
Dragoon, your painting of the cuevas window is beautifully and delicately done. Love the colours.

Thank you, Eileen! Wow! No hay gatos! Gracias por la eliminación de los gatos odiados por una vez! :D
