working in the woods, a reporter and editor of a local newspaper saw this and thought of me so out to work yesterday, rainshowers but deep in the woods so not much rain fell on my pastels, had an ear out for brother bear though, 18 x 24" on board, a late 30's Buick

Hi, Dan,

Love the light in the center back. And how you can make something I would walk by into a painting with lots of energy. Love your pastel strokes.

Now the old car looks like a celebration instead of abandoned scrap. so glad you put your talent into making it shine again. Wonderful work!

I ride my horse by an abandoned school bus that each year becomes more entangled. Your painting captures the feeling perfectly. You've made sense out of such a complex subject. Beautiful!!!!

I love your style and this painting is just wonderful and a good showcase. Strong abstract quality, yet you can identify clearly what's going on in it. The colors are great too. Excelent work.

Hi Annette, when the editor and reporter say "thinking of you" I had better listen

Thanks Jackie, I had a great encounter with a Grizzley Bear last year, about 3 meters away he was just grazing and I left my pastels on the boat, I did paint him from the boat the next morning

This is fun. I had to look twice to see it. It's always nice when you can engage the viewer like this. Nice.

Thanks Luna,
Hi Jackie Sandy was walking around the Marsh and took a pic(I try to have a pic of me working in case that elusive collector decides that they want a pastel, when the money is exchanged I give them a cd with some pics of their work in progress, did the Magazine run the impressionist article?
Thanks Tressa
