Someone in our plein air painting group bet me that I couldn't do a painting on a 1" by 3" scrap of paper that we found. Challenge!!

It's not much of a painting but hey, I squeezed it on there!

Ok, and if I took the part of my last painting that I actually LIKE, it would be about 1x1". Maybe I'll post it

Hey Randy, you turned a scrap of paper into fine art, this is wonderful! It's a gem, now you need to find a frame that it will fit into!

Finally! A use for that bag of popsicle sticks.

It may be small but I like it! I think I have pastel sticks bigger than that thing.

It is a little gem. You have all the elements of a good painting there, just miniturized! I like challenging myself to use scraps left over to see what I can do on such a small surface.

Yep, it works! Small but perfectly formed.

That's amazing. Just looking down at my stumpy fingers and just know they would not co operate with anything so small and delicate. So a big fat well done from me!

Love it! And you painted it with proper sticks ('logs')? Not pencils, I guess. The friend doesn't paint in pastels?

It is bigger on my screen than in real life... :-D

Thanks again, everyone. I'd like to say I'll try some more this small but this one crossed my eyes so I'll stay with a little larger format. :wink2:
