This is from my sketchbook and done in cheapie Mont Marte ops. I intend to do a good copy on pastel paper with Caran D'Ache. First op drawing I've been happy with.

Hi Anita- I love the composition, looks really cool. I'd work on it some more and add more values. I didn't understand whether you intednded this to be a draft, or whether you're going to work on it some more, but if so, I'd whip open those neopastels and add some more layers to the painting

This is a great sketch, at least that is what I call it. I usually so similar sketches to check composition and color choics before doing a final work with good O.P. on a good surface. I would love to see your finished work or pictures of it in stages as you complete it. I would suggest a colored paper for the finished painting to help you use the white spots to create tone.

It is a great sketch and will make a wonderful painting. I like how you have filled the space.

Good sketch to work from. I agree with Pat, nice way to fill the surface - looking forward to seeing the finished painting.
