the Heritage Forest in Qualicum Beach, windy at the shore so was blown in to the woods

a log on a beach, yesterday at Rathtrevor Park, 24 x 18" from life, lots of Brant along the shores edge gronking at me, the day got brighter rather than cloudier but I stuck to the first impression

i think i gonna try canson paper out next.using uart at moment is first time on sanded paper so be good to see the difference. nic work by way like it i gonna try and do some landscape.

All are gorgeous.
The clouds in the second and third ones are ... I can't think of a word. They're so lovely.

Not sure I would want to be in those woods looks like the wind followed you in and knocked things down! Nice job. I love the skies in the other two particularly the last one. I really like the colour harmony in sky and land in the last one.

Thanks Jen today the wind pushed me off the rocks but worked with a compromised composition(and a windbrake) still great to be out there

Dan, you certainly seem to master the rules of composition and color harmony, and at the same time show your own strong and living style. Love them all - every of these paintings is a treasure. Nature is such an endless source of inspiration, isn't it?!

Very beautiful paintings ! The sky in the third ( 3 ième ) is fantastic. All your paintings are very realistic, with an " atmosphère ".
