Oh ma'an I LOVE Petroglyphs!! I would give anything to discover some. When we lived in England we found scratchings on the walls of bomb shelters from WWII and thought that was the neatest thing!!! :D
But anyway, your painting!! Interesting choice of palette, but you know, I really like it. It's different. Most go with the brown/taupe for ecru/primary colors etc....I like this one. It's like it's reflected in early or twilight or something.
That texture is killer. I love sand...something I haven't ventured into yet but am headed that way soon!!! :D The application really makes this one.

Oooh, likiing this very much. Love the texture and the subtlety of the colors. Did you give it a title yet?

liquitex ceramic stucco......thats the "official" name lol...thx tam,aurora,blkros.........no title yet....i have to research that...lots & lots of glazing with a towel is what i did to "kick" back the figure,wish y'all could see it IRL.....
