Hey, I really like this one. I like how you have worked the colours to make the eye look right into where the boat is. :)

mmmmm, very nice. Reminds me of Oak Island, New York and very happy times out crabing, fishing and clowning around with my brothers.

I love the sky, very Aurora Borialis like! I wouldn't mind taking the boat out for a spin either!

Jerry, thanks for showing us your version! I like your landscape very much... and the lighthouse far far away. Your boat... looks like it's sinking in the sand! That's just an angle to correct. I know, I know watercolor... Us watercolorist are doomed... Either we wash all the painting and start over... either we don't do a thing and are condamned to do better the next time...

Thanks for the comments....The boat actually was tilted and "sinking" in sort of a blowout in the sand, but you pointed out correctly that I did not protray that very well or I should have put a hole in the boat or in some way made the boat look like it is more of an abandoned piece. Thanks, I really missed that point when I was doing this. Just goes to show the value of a critique!!

But Anne-Claire's piece is really nice I think!

This is really nice The tie dye sky is very cool and something about the colors and\or angle of the boat seems restful to me.
