 I ran out of ink for my printer so I couldn't print a ref photo and didn't want to sit at the computer - so this is completely done from memory of ref and no pre drawing, just put paint to canvas as I had done so many years ago with oil. I took some rocks out of the fence so one could enter the lane and follow the path around, thus going deeper into the painting (a Johannes Vloothuis(WC Instructor) landscape lesson). It is an odd piece of 7 x 8-1/2 (that I had lying around) 200 lb W&N paper and done with Davinci wc. and I framed it with fotosketcher and took 2 hrs. http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/09-Apr-2013/174208-FotoSketcher_-_Warren_Lane.jpg

Nice job without a reference, Kate. Love the opening in the wall to invite us into the garden.
