View Full Version : Download issues

So I bit on buying some vid downloads as I love watching others paint.
Low and behold, all downloads stop at 1.05 GB using FF20, IE9 or Chrome. No reason, no error, nothing. Of course, each vid is over 2GB so the 1.05 GB zip files are corrupt.
This tells me there is an issue on your end. Can you look into it please.

Thanks for writing to let us know you are experiencing some issues with your video downloads. Please let me know which videos you are downloading and what process you are using to do so. ArtistsNetwork.tv doesn't have video downloads over 800 or 900 MB, so not sure which ones you might be trying to access.
Are you are allowing the download to complete it's process prior to opening it? Viewing it before it is completely loaded to your computer can cause viewing issues. And it can take quite a while to download files as large as 1 GB.
You might also try the following:
Open the QuikTime or the VLC Player (if you do not have either one of these players you can download them for free at the below.)
If you want to try opening it in QuikTime:
You will open the QuikTime Player, go to File/Open URL and copy and paste the download link under where it says ‘Enter an Internet URL to open’. Press enter. Your video should start playing for you within 15-30 min or shorter.
If you want to try opening it with VLC:
You will open the VLC Player, go to Media/Open Network Stream and copy and paste the link under where it says ‘Please enter a Network URL’. Press Play. Your video should start playing for you within 15-30 min or shorter.
If you continue to have issues, check in direct with www.ArtistsNetwork.tv customer service at 715-445-4087, M-F 8am-5pm CT.

Um, I am not referring to ArtistsNetwork.tv.
This is for North Light Shop, which shows that all the files I am trying to download are over 1 GB. 2.2 GB and 3.5 GB are what show up.
It is The Essentials of Painting Series from Johannes Vloothuis series I am referring to.
Of course I let it complete. It cuts of at 1.05 GB every time. Three browsers, cache cleared, full restart. All fail.
As for streaming through quicktime - not thank you. I prefer to have the download so I can place it on my ipad.
I'll have to resort to calling your tech team and have them look into it.

Turned out the links from NLS were borked. They just sent me a new set.

While I am not sure what image downloader you are referring to, if it is a North Light e-book question, www.NorthLightShop.com (http://www.NorthLightShop.com) customer service should be able to get this in place for you.
