This one is for my spiritual mentor, this is her two grandsons, beautiful boys that I really enjoyed painting. I don't have permission to upload the reference pic, but I do think I got a really good likeness to the boys. I still have a couple of things to do on it, but its mostly complete. I do want to fix that white patch in the boys hair on the left - didn't notice it till I uploaded the picture! Thanks for looking!

It appears like the boy in the foreground is leaning on his arm. I would develope the hand more to make this more apparent. :)

I this this is wonderful. The arm and hand are off a bit, but that doesn't really bother me. It is an awesome painting.

Bravo! What a cheerful, beautiful watercolor. I love such watercolors where the quality of washes are clean and undisturbed.

I do not only like the colors and the way you painted them, but also the composition respectively their expressions!
A beautiful painting.

Thanks for all the nice comments!
Rich, you are right, he is leaning on his arm - actually, he has his hands folded in front of him, but I guess I need to make that a little more apparent.
Jan, your comments mean a lot to me, as I really admire your portraits and figures!
Kiran - A big fan of your work - thanks so much!
Gaby, thanks so much for your encouragement!
Darla, your nice comments are always appreciated!
Larry, thanks so much!

Das lockere, skizzenhafte sieht sehr gut aus -
besonders die Mimik der beiden "Typen" ist super!
The loose, sketchy looks very good - especially
the facial expressions of the two "types" is great!

Nice work....very well captured 'looks' ( with 2 sons I know both i think!) You're really finding your style with portraits...excellent and lovely to see!

Ernst, thanks so much! Glad you picked up on the two "types" because I wanted to express how they are both so different, but wonderful in their own ways. One is very serious all the time, and the other likes to be silly and carefree.
Suzanne, thanks so much - that means a lot! I do feel like I am starting to relax a little and just enjoy the painting itself, not worry so much about how it turns out or about messing something up!
