I love horizons: Don't you?

I worked long and hard on this one.....to get the color and contrast just right.



No blending on this one, just pure color.



Please no C&C. this is going in a juried show.

Sorry Derek, but this one looks an awful lot copyright infringement. Saw one just like it a museum last week, Or wait, was that the orange one, No, might have been red.

Derek,

I think this is actually a fine work that represents your unique ability to branch out and master many different styles and techniques. As for the work itself - I think the line is straight enough to represent our technological society and yet it is clearly done with a free hand representing humankind's everpresent need to search for freedom of expression. While some may find the color scheme to be perhaps a touch too simple, the single color speaks directly and without any doubt as to its intention. The soft edges do indeed give the painting depth (as fitting its title) without being overdone and losing the subtle meaning that makes this piece rise above works done in a similar vein. Certainly a candidate for many prizes and accolades. Well done, sir.
