Tried my hand at the frangipani.
Watercolor on handmade paper (that soaks up water like crazy) - approx 6x9in.

Beautiful job! The color looks nice and rich on your paper. Do you coat it with anything or add to the pulp? I've thought about making some, did years ago with my MIL.

Good job on this, I was wondering what the flowers are like close up, so pretty. Good greens in here and nice contrast with the dark trunk.

Oops, should have been clearer. The paper is handmade but made by hands other that mine. It's from a Hobby Lobby sketchbook with no name on it...and it has very funky edges and a rough texture. I have to remember to be careful which brushes I use on it because it will wear them down.
Thanks for the lovely comments Wendy, Connie, riverfrog and Rubyreddog.
I should have said a time, it took a little over 2 hours, with multiple glazes. New to me, I'm not much of a glazer.

Beautiful greens. I also love way you left the flowers very simple.
Okay, I can't resist. Now you are a "Trail Glazer"

It is lovely and luminous Tangerine to size your paper you can use a wash of a dilution of 1/4 gum arabic and water to adjust to get the right sizing
Thanks for hosting
