Thought I'd show some of the steps my acrylic paintings go through on the way to the finished article . To be honest a value study in monochrome would probaly save a lot of effort - but this - push /pull way is how I've developed and hard to break.
This is a small trial piece for a larger painting . Not unpromising but not as dynamic / impressive as I had in mind! I'll get there though!

Lookin' good! The strong shadows on the fuselage make it seem very solid and real.
