Sorry I missed out last week, even in commenting. :crying:
I have been down in plenty of pain since the 14th. I bent over and sneezed and pulled a muscle in my back...intense pain!
That in turn affected the muscles involved with my breathing. All that complicated my COPD. But I'm finally coming back with Ibuprofen.
I had a painting started from last week....I'll finish it sometime later.

Thanks for the great pics, Susan!
I cut loose with a Springtime landscape.

Oil on a 5x7 canvas panel.

C&C welcome....Thanks for looking.

Done at 2 hrs.

So sorry to hear about the muscle pain and the added complications it caused - do get well quickly please.:)

You'll not believe this but I almost did this crop too - what a super painting you've made from a few elements Deano.

Deano just what your beautiful painting suggests, is what we all need right about now "a breath of fresh Spring air". Sorry to hear about your back - don't you just love it, sneeze and your "down and dirty" for a while - hope you'll feel better soon.

Nothing like a twisted back muscle - instantly debilitating. Glad you're managing the pain. Lovely painting which promises more spring flowers. Great crop.

A beautiful painting and signs of spring is what we need right now  , kneeling or bending alone stirs copd up bad and with a bad back must be hard

I love how you worked on a small area of the fence and the how you played with the light and shadows Dean.
I hope you are feeling better, it is good to see you posting again.

It's amazing how you can be in pain, but create such beauty! I like how the plants portray movement and that they are living/growing, where as the fence is firmly solid and does not live or move. Neat.

Hi Deano,
what a great - and also unusual (ref. the colors) spring painting! I like it a lot - like all of your paintings.

I'm sorry to hear that you're not well and hope that everything will be sorted out soon.

I also missed your painting last week - but have to admit, that that was a great opportunity to discover your blog :D

Take care!
