It's finally getting warmer so... back to the local deserts!
12 x 16 pastel on Wallis paper
Wow, very nice Randy. It really drives your eye to the focal point. The rocks are well done (as usual), and the diminishing detail and value change in the foliage as it gets closer to the edge of the painting is a nice touch. Beautiful!

no snowy cold rocks ... ? - don't blame you . :)
the cool green highlights lower left and bottom look evenly spaced ,
but it is a wip .

Couldn't put my finger on what I really wanted to change so I just adjusted a few values and colors and decided to call it quits. Thanks for looking and commenting!
