Indeed not! The ice is totally believable, well done!
They'll move your two paintings to the Pastel Studio, and then you'll get more comments.
Welcome Kevin: yep you need to go to studio gallery with this.
Looking good buddy.

As they said...you ought to be in the Studio/Gallery with this picture...so I've moved it, but left a redirect...just in case!
Great ducks and ice!

Welcome to the Gallery! Nice job on this, the ice is well done as are the birds. I hope to see more of your work.

Both of the Mallard ducks seem to be looking for the best place to roost!
I think they found it.
Very skillfully painted, as I imagine a back story where these two ducks are not getting along well. Clearly, if they were mates, they would not be standing on ice and looking away from one another! :)
Looking forward to your next posts!

Thank you all for the positive feedback. Can anyone advise on how to post in the pastel section or studio gallery ? I am brand new to this sight.

Just go to pastel Gallery and post as you did on new thread. Dierdre has redirected this one so no need to do anything more to it.
A great job on the icy ducks. Welcome to the forum.
