10-12 hours work saw this knocked up. I'll leave it to dry for a couple of weeks and then come back and add the colour.

18" x 9" oil, on board
Burnt umber and titanium white over burnt sienna tinted gesso.

A French Ultramarine Blue sky quickly blocked in and a Napthol Scarlet glaze added.

It's amazing how much difference the addition of a couple of colours can make. I particularly like how the white is starting to pop.

I don't see the movement in this- I can feel it. Very cool for basically such a simple composition.

Very cool Pete! I love the action feel to the painting.
I worked on the T-45a engineering program at McDonnell-Douglas, love that aircraft.
