haven't painted in what seems like forever
so i needed to warm up again
before getting back to a portrait
knife works are a fun way to work with quick loose compositions
some glare has been removed, hard to photo wet paint
they're all oils ... c&c always welcomed

OOOOOHHH!!! so good to see you back!

These are restful and upbeat.

Like children, one should not play favorites, so I will say I like them all, maybe one more than the others, but I can't reveal which one... don't want it to get a swelled head.

thanx for sharing these with us

They are all so good! Unlike Birdhs, I'll play favorites and tell you that number 6 is my favorite...with number 1 being a very close second. I love that they seem so effortless. I know that may not be the case, but they come across that way, which I think is awesome. :)

thanks golfgal, the bonus of knifing works is that they're quick .:clear:. the down side of doing knifed works is they're over too soon.

letting the portrait dry this afternoon, i did this one for some fun

THAT is MY fave. The latest. Before that post I would have said 6 or 7. All are clever. Gifted, you really are.
