One acrylic, one digi, both on red grounds, neither anything special, both fun though. But the color/value shift with acrylics is frustrating.

digi on my tablet with Infinite Painter, free version. Sometimes the brushes won't do anything.

Wendy, both are so beautiful!!! I love the variety of the sunflower petals and the background pattern of the blue-redish sky is so creative! The old town gate is great!!! Those reds and golden give it a sunny sunset glow. Thank you for joining and for taking the challenge too!

I really like them both, particularly the acrylic. It may have been frustrating but it produced great results.

Solid architectural drawing enlivened by your rich, upbeat colours. The sunflower is bright and jolly.

The red support comes through in both in a beautiful way, Wendy!
I know what you mean about value shifts in acrylic. I was into oils so long, I had about forgotten that challenging fact.

Really 'hot' building - the red ground works well.
Like the digi too ....... the ideosyncracies of the free version are sometimes a nuisance - I'm going to break the bank and buy the proper version! (hoping that will work better!)
