Thanks for hosting!

I love to paint sunflowers, and really tried to make this one dramatic.
It was painted in Artrage with really thick and juicy oils, and lots of palette knife.
I really wanted to give the impression of a dark stormy sky and that really high contrast light that you get when the sun peaks thru the storm clouds. But oh well.
Should I crop out more of the sky???

C&Cs always welcome!

Haha Elaine - I'm doing mine in artrage and with oils - maybe they'll meet in the programme!

I really like the emotion in this - it's so lively.:)

Beautiful work!!! I love the strong contrasts and I fully agree with Li: very dramatic and moody!!! If it was mine, I wouldn't crop it at all, I like it just as it is!

That dramatic sky sets the stage for more drama to come at the castle...love it! Don't crop it.

You've achieved a very painterly look with the digital medium. And it's certainly dramatic.

Yes, dramatic and lively. I'd crop a bit of the sky to focus more on the flower. Right now the sky and flower are pretty equal. Fool with it and see what you think.

I would crop some sky and make flower focal point - lovely juicy color in this digi Elaine.
