Very, very nice D! I like that you created depth and distance on the sandy bottom, which is not easy to do. Love the addition of more turtle grass. He seems to be gliding effortlessly, as they do. Lovely work!!! So sorry that you can't dive anyone. Take care of that heart of yours! All my shots are from snorkeling. Can't dive because of bad ears. I hope you can at least get to the water from time to time and pop your head under. Sweet painting!

Li, I have not been in the water for 3 years, I live in maine now and although I have been back several times to florida it was to take care of my mother who has had surgery each time.. I am going back in july and I plan on spending 2 weeks so I better be able to get to get wet! lol I really do miss how beautiful the sunset is on the gulf..
Thank you Deano, diving, like painting is very serene.. unless you have a spear gun or a deadline :)
very happy memories eyepaint.. other than getting sea sick or sea legs occasionally it really was the best of times :) it is truly amazing the things that grow underwater!
Thanks to all of you.. good luck Billybobjoe.. (sounds like my dad trying to remember which one he was yelling for! lol) I cant wait to see it
Sundiver and Carol I only used burnt umber, turquoise and indigo.. the colors just developed that way as I was working it :)
I have just started to seriously use my watercolors.. I had a wc teacher tell me some years ago when I took her class that I was "a drawer not a painter" when I asked why I was having such a hard time using them.. it put me off of them for a long time.. but I set up my studio in the basement last fall and now that I can actually get to whatever I want, leave it out if I am in the middle and have good lighting I have been trying to paint every day so I am trying to be brave and use up those lovely little tubes :)
