Looking good! Looking at all the water colors on WC has made me want to try. But am afraid. Will stick with acrylics for now.

Best wishes for a successful show Guilli. Hope you have many visitors with some (many) sales thrown in as well! Great, loose washy wc. yet I can feel the wieght of the mans body in the hammock. I really need to study your work more. You capture a scene with very little fussing with the details. That's where I get hung up in wc. You let the medium work FOR you.

Very pretty. Delicate. Looks great. I want to try water color, but I know I make too many mistakes and would end up with a total mess! Best of luck with your show. I wish you high attendance and a record number of sales!

Hey BillyBob,Li,Susan,Carol,Bonnie,Deano,EP,Connie,Bunny,Gail:wave: thanks for all your comments on my painting and our art exhibition, we must have hung over a hundred paintings on wed,and now it is open until the 18th,we are in a depression but:crossfingers: there is still some money around,as long as the club make a profit and not a loss that will be good,my first stewarding day is next Mon so will try for some photo's,might need permission from the gallery.
BillyBob,yes stay with acrylics for the time being, may be later you can try some watercolours on the side,i was a pastelist and i gate crashed a wet canvas watercolour meet here in the uk in 2004 where i did my first ever watercolour:eek: just played with the medium but it wasn't until 2006 that i started to paint and show all the time putting my pastels to one side,so it has been 6/7 years watercolour learning curve and ongoing,i have started the odd pastel now and again to keep my hand in and also playing around with acrlic which i use with alot of water, also mixed media of all 3 mediums.
Everytime i see one our Maureen's acrylic inks i am tempted but i cannot afford the materials or the time to learn another medium.
