The decision was that one a week was too fast for people to fully utilize the inspiration photos for sketching. So, as of today, it will be posted once a month. If you want to be the host for a month, please sign up in the weekly thread sign up, April is taken, but any month after that is open.

Once more, you are stuck with me and my gleanings from the image library.

Ah, I'll have to contact the moderator. I'm only a guide and I don't have that power.

Some great choices and having a month to try some takes the speed pressure off :-)

Might use some of these as references for the strathmore workshop this month.

That's a great little watercolour of the pansies! The background is especially well done and soft...

Wow, toowoomba, that's a LOT of detail! I like the colour of the ink very well on that cream? paper, and the way you've used different strokes for the different areas. It looks just right!

I'd like to play, too. :)

This looked like a good challenge so I thought I would have a go at the French Barn.
Its changed shape somewhat and wasn't intentional!

Hello fellow sketchers, I can't find the April inspirational thread, it is not a sticky and so has probably dropped off the end somewhere.

... and for March there were some good and fun sketches but not many? I wonder why?

Happy sketching
Rachel
