Interesting....I didn't think this was a watercolor. Very nice!

10x14" Arches watercolor, some ink, pastel over to correct fiddling with the watercolor all week. Thought this was done in by over watercoloring, but the pastel saved the day in the end. Thanks for the images Sharrm, too many lovely and may be able to try them soon.

Yes, there have been some fab versions of these flowers and this ranks right up there with the best Paula. The mixed media works well, love the looseness and stetchy strokes. Lovely.

Very nicely done Paula the addition of the pastel really adds an extra softness to these flowers - did you know that Lisianthus when sent to someone is considered "appreciation". I received a wonderful little book for Xmas called The Language of Flowers.
