Sorry I'm late.

This side of the pond the refs weren't up until Saturday so I'd missed Friday and I was so busy all weekend,. I managed to make a start on Monday, then just did bits as and when here and there.

I sketched it out rough and then transferred to paper and used ink to go over it. i then used Inktense pencils applied dry in varying shades and wet each layer to produce an inky layer. Then added additional layers, blending where necessary.

Photo after 2 hours....

and then i reckon, off and on in bits another couple of hours and I finally finished it last night.

I photographed it today but it was a bit dull and overcast and made the sheet look grey, when it is pretty white. SO had to brighten it up to show it's true colour as best I could.

It was great to have the chance to use my really bright reds... such as 'Hot Red and cherry, as well as Shiraz and poppy red. I also made use of Paynes Grey, charcoal grey, dark indigo and Chinese Ink.

Well drawn Lin! So much detail in there. The reds of the inktense pencils really work for the bodywork. Glad I didn't miss this. :)

glad you liked seeing it as much as I liked doing it.
