This is based on an a photo in the image library. It looks a little tacky now that I see a photo of it.

I like it even though the rump seems to be last a bit against the background --- but that may be the result of the photographing.

Looks pretty good to me. Nice light on the animal. Light source from right and just on right hand side of horse suggests to me that its bulk would throw a rather larger shadow under it......but perhaps that is super-critical!
I like the picture. Well done.

Photographs tend to " black out " shadows and also " blow out " highlights . In this case, it would be interesting to add some color into the shadow areas. Keep the value the same , just add similar values in color . This would add beauty and interest into what is now very dark and vacant . By the way, I love your greens ! You did not just use one flat green . Love what you did !

Geoff, Mike, Ella and She. Thanks for your comments and insights. You got me thinking about the shadow areas. I'm going to try and add some color.
