Hi all! This is one of my first attempts at oil pastels and I realize I need a lot of technique work! :) I still think it looks pretty cool though. I would love any feedback you would be willing to share.
Crayola oil.pastels with some portfolio series as well on an old piece of floorng.

Very nice painting and so glad to see your work. What size is this piece.
I really like your fabric work on the woman's dress - has a nice pearly and sheen appearance with the blues, salmon, pinks and grays, very nice!
I feel beautiful emotion coming from both the guitarist and singer.

Welcome to the OP forum... This has a lot of nice things going on and I especially like the feeling you have evoked between the people.
Is it on wood flooring?

Thanks for the feedback! The piece is about 40x30 on a the backside of some paneling I had out in the shed. I really enjoy the way oils pastels feel on the wood grain.

Very, very nice. Only thing I'm finding odd is something with her right eye. Like I'm not sure it's her eye or eyebrow.

Thanks Michelle! Her right eye is at a totally different angle from her left. It is a mistake but I'm mostly happy with it and completely terrified if trying to fix it. LOL. I figure that if I fix it, it will lead to me over-working her and it will lose the whatever it is that makes it cool.

Really like this a lot! Shows emotion....must be a story there. Strong lighting emphasizes the emotion between the two also. Don't touch it!
....and welcome to the forum! Hope we see a lot more of your work.
