These are in gouache, and all are 2.5" x 3.5", on 140 c/p watercolor paper.

The subjects are all within reach of my home: the Rio Grande in winter, a sunny summer field with shadows, and the cactus that grows everywhere.

Comments welcome--just thought I'd share!

Thanks all!

Check out my gouache page, Debbie, where I have some step-by-step pix. Here's a link. (http://deborahsecor-gouache.blogspot.com/p/step-by-step-demo.html) Someday I'll post a step-by-step on watercolor paper there, too...

Also look at the Gouache Corner archives (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=759241)over in Watercolor Studio for more WIPs...
