I did this at art class using only three oil pastels and white its based on a Constable cloud study, a bit abstract with the cloud colourshttp://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/03-Feb-2013/187855-Constable_clouds.JPG

I think this is absolutely luminous ...lovely study and a good example that less is sometimes more when it comes to our choice of colours

Oh I really like this! It's a beautiful mix and blends, but as Steve said it is luminous! Great use of your value ranges to give the clouds shadows and depth.
This is wonderful, congratulations!

Thanks everyone it was a bit of a challenge I did a few colour wheels trying out different combinations of red, blue and yellow I did the sketch using a ceruleum blue, a magenta colour and a yellow, sorry cant remember the names of the colours I have taken the paper off the pastels

Very nice! I find it's easy to overwork clouds. They seem to start out looking great and then get worse as I go along. You totally avoided this pitfall.

Beautiful - colours are just gorgeous.

Beautiful subtle transitions with just the right amount of magenta/crimson accents here and there. The accents hold the viewer's attention, while the quieter blue passages seem to hold it all together.
