This sketch thread is open to all Oil Pastelists. You are invited to share any sketching you've been doing this month, be it detailed ones, quick ones, ideas for paintings or value studies. Basically, just show us what you're working on! There is NO time limit, so knock yourselves out!
It would be great if you could share with us the paper and pastels you are using, as well as the size of your sketch. We do love the details! :clap: :clap: :clap:

Greetings! I have something small to offer this week! I did a little sketch of one of our raccoons (my instructor says DRAW DRAW DRAW, but it is more fun to "color" the drawings) so here it is. 1/8 sheet of Cansons, Neos, and Holbeins
Looks like he has nose rings... It's always easier to see what is going on when you are looking at a picture of your work! I'll have to fix that!

Here are a couple of 9x12 works I have been working on this month as I explore OP. They are done with cheap Pentel OP on flat black pastel paper.

These are all great sketches to test your OPs. I especially like the tree frog.
