Perspective looks O.K. to me Christine. You always need a focus of interest and your figures provide that. Just a point - try to photograph your paintings absolutely "square on". You are above and at a bit of an angle with your camera.This can sometimes give a distorted picture to the viewer.


P.S. There is a "correct" answer for perspective but otherwise where you place objects in paintings is very much up to you and there will often be different opinions!

I've lived on the beach and can feel the wind from the way you have painted the leftmost tree. Very nice, it adds a very good element to the painting.

Mike---thanks for the feed-back...as i am still learning i appreciate all advice given.,as long as the painting "works",thats fine...im on a big learning curve,art,photography,it skills,,,,thank goodness im semi-retired!!.christine:)

Hoosier Fred....thanks for commenting...pleased to hear my intention does show in my painting....it was based on a photo i took while visiting Princess Cays Bahamas....first port of call on my retirement cruise!!Christine:)
