View Full Version : Little puffin study

Below is a little puffin study (about 8 X 10 inches) using the usual. I hate the photo because the blue looks so garish but in reality it is a deep luscious purplish blue that the picture doesn't capture. Love these cuties!

I love Puffins and this guy is cute!
Did you know that there is a 24/7 cam on a Puffin Colony on one of the Northern Maine Islands - I think it is from national geographic, but if you do a web search you may be able to find it. It's really cool being able to watch them in their natural habitat.

Very nice, Michelle. Yes, there is a puffin preserve on Eastern Egg Rock off the coast of Maine. We have taken a boat ride out to the island to see them. They are a much smaller bird than I first thought.

Michelle, I agree that they are cute birds. You did the species justice with this lovely painting. I like the colors of the shadow he is casting.
