Helo everyone! Here are my photos for this week! All taken by yours truly, so free to use as you wish! Hope you enjoy them, and have fun!
This is Ramsholmen, our nature trail in my hometown in Ekenäs/Finland
Corner of my work desk with the chinese animal of this year, the dragon!
A sort of still life with some of my oil colors...
A beautiful Eagle-owl I saw in a falconry in Cardiff castle in Wales.
And last just for fun I give you myself!! This was taken this summer at the medieval market festival we had in our hometown. I was kitchen maid, and pose here together with one of the footmen of our 'local knight' :)

Thanks for some great picts, Jenny. That second one makes my eyes cross just thinking of sketching it though. That is a lot of harvest. . .

Here is what I did using 3 watercolor pencils for color (red, blue, yellow only). I sorta only used a corner of you photo, Jenny. And the quote from Robert Hughes who passed away earlier this year.

Thanks for posting the pictures, Jenny. I think you posted some challenging ones. This was especially intimidating knowing how beautifully you draw your birds. But I wanted to try the owl because they are among my favorites.
This was a quick sketch with pencil and some colored pencil.

Philip, I like your owl.
I decided to do him today as well. . . did him as a quick sketch in pencil. Then added some color on top with watercolor pencil.

EP, I just love your colorful owl.

Here is my bad attempt at the eagle owl. Not very happy but was done in normal sketchbook not watercolour paper, so....
At least I'm starting to get back into things again.
EP I like your owl much better. Great job on the portrait too, looks so happy.
