Thank you Jacqui. That shaggy cow is just adorable.

Thanks, Jacqui. Of course I have to do that wolf or doggie (not sure what he is, but he's handsome). . . and those blue shoes are also appealing!

Nice shoes, Rainy. They look real. I'm happy if my cow is recognizable.
9x12 pencil - Strathmore Sketchbook
I had to try this when I saw it. We had Scottish Highland cattle on the farm when I grew up. I had to walk across the field to the hay barn to feed them before going to school. If I stopped or walked too slowly, the oldest and biggest cow would put her nose in the small of my back and give me a boost to keep me moving. If you have ever been nudged by a 2000 pound beast with two foot long horns... well believe me, you don't push back. It was quite a thrill for a ten year old boy. Thanks for posting the pictures, Jacqui.

Finally got the camera out and have some pics to upload of the couple I attempted.
Bears on page predecorated with watercolour, drawn with fountain pen, bit hard to see, sorry
Big horn cow, done is pastel pencils. I made the mistake of leaving my sketchbook open on my desk and the cat laid on it and rolled around a bit and suddenly my drawing is a lot lighter...lol
Blue shoes, watercolour.
