Oil on canvas, 16" x 16".
My painting skill appears unable to interpret my imagination ... and perhaps the imagination aint that good either!
Explanation:
If you go down in the woods today......sure of a big surprise......for every bare that ever there was is gathered there because....today's the day La Bares have their picnic.
Comment please: How can I make it work - composition, colour, whatever??
Thank you in anticipation.
Do you think a blue tint glaze would work?

Le pique-nique d'ours

Although no bears they are bare, so perhaps Le pique-nique nus ? or Le pique-nique nu ?

I would not blue glaze over the whole work, allow your imagination to keep going as you are, build up forms and shapes.

A blue glaze would turn the painting green and brown. You DON'T want that! You need value. Decide where you want the COI (bears?) and place your darkest value next to your lightest value. I personally would lean a little above and to the left of the reddish area in the lower right. Since I'm mainly a watercolorist, I sometimes forget that you can paint over stuff in other mediums. Love to see it as you progress.
