I hesitated to post anything until WC got over it's little fit of moving posts around randomly or making them disappear entirely. :clear:
The response, while not overwhelming was positive to keep the pictures coming. So, I will carry on a while longer with this. However, it would be cool if people would volunteer to take a week now and again.
Onto this week's pictures...

Debby thank you so much for continuing with this. Love the pics. I have finished my course for the year so am hoping to become a more active member of the site again, and always enjoyed these pics.

Hi Debby. . . glad this is continuing. I am trying to get the house set up so I can get back into sketching and painting again more regularly. Slowly things are coming together and boxes are slowly disappearing from he rooms.

I'm glad you are continuing these photos as well. I just found this forum last week, but didn't want to participate while Wet Canvas was going berserk.
I don't usually work from photos and I have not tried sketching children before. They don't hold still at all!
My apologies to the little girl and her family. Keep in mind I'm just a beginner. :)
This is pencil in my 9x12 Strathmore sketch book. It took me less than an hour.
Rainy, your feather looks great.
Toowoomba, I like your pen work. I have only tried pencil so far.

Philip, as a beginner you tackled a hard one. You got the perspective very well! You really must continue as you have potential Keep sketching.

Jenny, an absolutely fabulous feather. These threads are open ended, so there is no "late". Glad you were inspired.

Fantastic work, everyone. I particularly love the drawing of the pensive child and the collage-look piece with the jay feather.
