Hi Serge, In this painting the buildings are too intrusive and bold for me. Maybe if you made the dark windows/doors less dark and very few of them the same it would help. The red rooves are a bit brilliant. You could use red oxide and yellow ochre on them instead. Some of those boats from post #1 put in the foreground would add interest and give the viewer some curvy shapes to look at and thus some relief from all the straight structured work in the buildings.
If these are your first acrylic pntgs, you are doing extremely well.

When I squint and look at this the windows jump right out. They should be much lighter with some variation in shading.
The reflections in the water are really well done. For the buildings to be so massive, it would be nice to see more of the sky and scene.
Thanks for posting! Do you work from photographs only? I'd suggest painting on site...you'd be surprised at the difference!

Hello Howard and Carly,
Again you are right... windows must be a bit too dark... and I see it only when you mention it to me...
Carly : Yes, it's from photography...I never tried painting outside.
The two posts are not my first acrylics, I'm painting since 2 years now.
Thanks for your comments
