Hi guys!! What are you all up to? I found an art supplier online that has natural/hand-made papers so I ordered some. They came yesterday and I can't wait to try them out. (My local art shop has given up stocking them, so I was pleased to find an online store that does them).
I've started on some of this month's projects...but nothing much to post as yet.
Heading towards Autumn and winter...Season of warm drinks, autumn colours, and staying in...to paint!!
See you later.:D

I adore your collages, Janet!! Very stylish and also witty. I am off to check the link to art catalogues.
I watched a couple of kid's TV programmes on paintings from BBC this morning. Very enjoyable. The oldies were there like van Gogh and also some new ones such as Paula Rega and Eileen Agar. The presenter walked into the painting to talk about it. Intriguing.

If we could walk into our own paintings and discuss them, that would be the ultimate artist's statement.
I try to do a little collage every morning to get me started...even if it's only to wash the dishes. They are very relaxing to do.
Here is a Halloween card for all my classical friends:

Janet, your cat collage is so cute.
I'm hosting the Fantasy and Sci-Fi Monthly Challenge - November (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1295979) this month and finally did a couple of pieces for it.
Oh my god, you don't know how much up and down I had for the past 5 months with my ailing back. Yesterday was the first time I could feel I am getting better and could finally walk without having to worry that I'm pressing on the wrong nerve. I'm finally straightening my pelvis by exercises and I'm so excited I am returning to color work and not just quick pen or brush sketches.
Btw, at work,I have recently been assigned new duties. I'm now in IT and I'm totally ecstatic. I have an additional/new supervisor who loves all that I do for him and I'm learning tons everyday.
I've browsed at amazon's books and it's a pity I didn't manage to take part in the Andrew Rackham challenge last month but I'm going to buy some of his illustration books to learn from them - especially the goblins one.
So good to be almost nearly back in shape.

Sorry about your back...but the job sounds good. Have you ever looked into Dover Publications? I just got their catalog, and they have several books, at reasonable prices, on a lot of the illustrators we have looked at here.
Keep doing your excercises....my back is awful, but I'm old.
