The places your soul has been. Truly singular!

Thanks. I decided I didn't like the eyes, though, and messed with it some more.

mummification and still breathing

these latest are pretty hard core for me
I've seen those things in reality
the memories are powerful
and make the paintings intense journeys
of a private nature, I feel like you are
exploring the viewer with these
as much as yourself

Very eery and ghostly.

ooh my favorite of the three.
this is frightening; it makes me feel many things at once.
dry, papered decay
dark sockets, webbed
stretched cracking
immortal

i like :)

No eyes, no mouths. This series is decidedly eerie.
Keep it up!

Yay Aurora ! :D Christened your new space ! :D Fantastic !!

Very Haunting series -
this particular one brings to mind a Death Mask.

Wonderful to see you 'up and running' and in 'full swing' again - though I must add that I really enjoy your drawings too. :D

Cheers Dahzl :)

I love it. Has a luminous quality. I have to ask though, how is wax paper used in this?

HEY All! Hope I didn't spook you all too much! Thanks so much for the comments! DS, the wax paper is applied to the paint while it's wet. Hoping that the wax will protect the paper. I can't think of why it wouldn't, but you know how that goes... :D
I just tracked my shipment of paint, and it's only 25 minutes from here. yay. I'm almost completely out of everything. lol.
