I never have been a great fan of abstract works. But still I think that the second one is the best. Somehow it's colors and composition work best for me.

Did you had anything as a model or motive? Or did you just decided to paint it as it is now?

Turri - Thanks for commenting. Actually, I was frustrated one day and was having "painters block". I was partially inspired by arial views from an airplane and just started by dividing the canvas into sections and went from there. Often, I find just getting started is the hardest part (although I am sure this is the way most painters start a piece). Have been posting in Abstract forum. Again, thanks.

I love abstract art, and would like to try some myself. I like all these compositions, but particularly the second and third ones - probably because their color schemes are a little more easily "accessible." I'd like to see more!

Thanks Flopka. I find abstract painting very liberating.

I like the play of your cool and warm colors. Number #3 is my fave! I just got back from your city. Fun place....but so CHILLY! I didn't bring cold weather clothes!:)

The third one is my favourite too. I don't understand abstract art and often don't want to, but if the colours and their arrangement please me, that's enough. I know what I like.

I love the sense of dimention in these...i'm assuming that this is a series in which one gradually becomes closer to ground since the first tends to have the most dimention to it and the last tends to be more 2 dimentional
