A painting of mine was accepted into a local group show...this is my first time to show anything publicly since college. (which was 15 yrs ago)I was nervous entering it and then nervous going to the opening, which was on Saturday!

It was fun to be a part of... to see something of mine actually hanging in a gallery!

I'll try to attach a photo of it (although of course it's much better framed and in person! :D ) and the color is not right...my scanner is worthless--but you'll get the idea.

The show is called "Visual Prozac"...a happy, whimsical, spiritual show. A very nice show, I might add; includes photography, sculpture, mixed media--- all kinds of stuff. It's at the Nicholas street Gallery at the HotShops art center in Omaha through August.

My painting is entitled 'Abundant Life." Acrylic on canvas, 30"x30".

This is beautiful, I love it! Hopefully you will do more along the same lines and style! I love the expression on the woman's face. Good work!

Congratulations on the show, and on this wonderful painting. It certainly fits with "Visual Prozac!" Instantly made me smile . . .

Very rarely do I come across so much feeling, talent and emotion.
Please rethink the title-Prosac- HARDLY. Last I heard/read Prosac kills your emotions and leaves one rather pleasently empty- good I suppose for extreme mental chaos- a condition I often wish would go away and happily it did with your "Celebration of Life"
Please come on back with more.
