This is one of my attempts at encaustic,4x6 inches.Opinions welcome.

Hi heather. I like this. It has a nocturnal sense about it. Someting dropped, floating down by moonlight. Glad you're playing in a new medium. :)
Push it to the limits, then exceed them. :D

Vey nice. I would like to see this as a much larger piece. it would even be more powerful.

Thanks, I am glad you like it. Yes,I saw all of Sassy's wonderful art and thought that encaustic may be just the thing to try to loosen my mind a bit. I have to say that it is harder than I expected it to be. I am trying to let loose a little and I am still fighting it all the way.
I have ruined several of the small cards so far.
Lazy,Surreal,Thank you very much! It was fun to do.
Davies, well, I have only tried 2 so far on the 8 x 11 inch paper. I think I have to get used to it a little more,but I am looking forward to working on the larger sizes.
