New piece, Helen of Troy, Acrylic on newspaper, Size: 24.75 "w x 40"h

This is a remake of "Bust of Homer". Staying within the antiquities theme, I call it "Helen of Troy". Using newspaper invites the technique of collage. I'm moving more in that direction which is new for me.

This is Bust of Homer. Obviously a completely different painting. But I like to come back to old subjects from different angles.

collage! :D My favoritest!! Sometimes it's good to revisit and expand our horizons.

Loving what you do and why. My only suggest would be to integrate the images to the composition somehow so they don't look just "cut out and pasted."

I've tweaked it a little bit. And I've added some details. Can you see the difference? Thanks for your comments. I've sent you a personnel message.

Hi Pete! I can't really tell the difference in scrolling up/down/up. I'm going to transfer them both to my comp then pull them up as thumbnails side x side and compare.

I received your message and will get back to you. :)

I do appreciate what you are doing. Thanks for the imput.
